Below you'll see "Devices" in the left hand side

Under "Devices," click on the name of your Shuffle.  Mine is "Richard Schossow..." and you'll see this screen:

From there, you can choose what you want to add to your iPod by clicking on the menu at the top (Summary, Music, Podcasts).  Once you've said what you want to add, go back to Summary and click Sync.
